We're seeking a passionate Talent Acquisition Relationship Manager (RM) to join our Talent Acquisition team. Reporting to the TA Regional Leader, this role functions as an Account Manager for an assigned multi-site geography, working as a Talent Acquisition SME, collaborating with Business Leaders and TA Delivery Teams (In-House & RPO) to ensure detailed translation and execution of business needs into hiring results. The Relationship Manager will directly contribute to the business results driven by Thermo Fisher Scientific’s growth trajectory.

This role requires proximity to our sites in Basingstoke or Swindon, with some travel across multiple sites.

A Day in the Life:

  • Partner closely with senior leaders, hiring managers, and HR to understand hiring demands.
  • Ensure TA Teams are aware of upcoming requisition volumes across all hiring segments.
  • Drive accountability and alignment to SLAs and key metrics with In-House and RPO providers.
  • Collaborate with TA Teams to create sourcing strategies and build talent pipelines.
  • Maintain strong relationships with TA Business Partners, ensuring strategy alignment.
  • Support the team in managing priorities to meet business needs.
  • Design solutions for hiring challenges and timelines.
  • Manage customer relationships proactively, addressing issues promptly.
  • Analyze data to identify hiring trends and improve strategies.

Experience:

  • University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting.
  • Preferred experience in RPO, business partnering, project, or relationship management.
  • Experience in sourcing strategy development and implementation across multiple sites.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain successful relationships.
  • Knowledge of labor markets, talent channels, and candidate insights.
  • Ability to interpret data to inform strategies.
  • Effective communication skills, navigating ambiguity and change.
  • Ability to guide partners through complex situations and set clear expectations.
  • Understanding of UK employment legislation.
