Our client in Stroud, Gloucestershire is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to join a friendly, proactive HR team. The role involves managing multiple live vacancies, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process on-site.

The ideal candidate will have prior talent acquisition experience (agency or in-house), a clear understanding of engineering roles such as CNC/CAD, and strong communication skills. Flexibility on salary and hours is offered to secure the right candidate.

• Clear understanding of engineering positions such as CNC, CAD, Mechanical Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Support HR Advisor and HR Director with all aspects related to the busy recruitment/talent function.
• Manage multiple live vacancies at any one time, ensuring roles are progressed quickly and efficiently.
• Keep internal HR system up to date with all relevant records and information.
• Draft, review and post engaging and informative job adverts and post across job boards.
• Review CVs, conduct initial screening calls and coordinate interviews.
• Build relationships with hiring managers and provide regular updates on progress.
• Liaise with PSL recruitment agencies.
• Ensure candidates receive a professional and positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Oversee hiring and onboarding processes, including offer letters, contracts, and pre-employment checks.
• Any other ad hoc duties to support the talent and HR function.

Talent Acquisition Manager

Our well established, successful, and constantly developing client are currently looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join their friendly team in Stroud (Gloucestershire).

It is essential for this individual to have previous recruitment/talent acquisition experience, ideally for mechanical or engineering roles. Budget for the role has been pre-approved for an initial 3 months. Flexibility on salary and hours can be offered to ensure getting the right person on board, especially for someone who may be able to start immediately.

This is a friendly team, where everyone mucks in to reach common goals including filling roles of varying urgency with the right talent, managing the onboarding process and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Duties
