Talent Acquisition Manager, Huguenots

The Company

Clients of all sizes, from start-up boutiques to global asset management firms, are assured of the attention to detail, effortless customization, and peace of mind that are hallmarks of a solution crafted by Huguenots.

The Role
We’re looking for a senior recruiter to establish an in-house talent acquisition and management function. This role will be central to the continued growth and success of our company and you will be directly accountable for sourcing exceptional talent across all teams. We have a track record of hiring candidates of the very highest calibre (50% of staff are Oxbridge alumni) who have fully embraced the return to a traditional office-based culture.

Working closely with our MD and team leads, you’ll be responsible for sourcing and selecting candidates of the highest standard. Alongside an ongoing business-wide recruitment campaign, the successful candidate will demonstrate that they can use their own initiative and rapidly hire suitable candidates when a business need arises.

You will be our first in-house recruiter, therefore there is scope for an extremely capable candidate to establish the nature of the function and shape the direction of the role.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in a multitude of functions, such as data, digital, design, operations, etc.
  2. Collaborate with our MD and team leads to understand staffing requirements and develop strategies to retain talent
  3. Create detailed job specs for roles across our different business functions
  4. Source and screen candidates to assess their suitability for various roles within the company
  5. Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through networking, outreach, and other proactive methods
  6. Coordinate and conduct recruitment events, both virtually and in-person
  7. Act as a brand ambassador, promoting our company culture and values to potential candidates

Qualifications
  1. 3+ years of experience in the direct sourcing of candidates, either in-house or for an agency
  2. Proven track record of successfully owning an end-to-end recruitment process
  3. Strong understanding of customer success, project management, data, digital and design disciplines
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with team leads across multiple functions
  6. A self-starter, with a proactive approach to recruitment who is able to simultaneously manage multiple recruitment requirements

The Ideal Candidate
  1. Thrives in a busy, fast-paced working environment alongside extremely capable colleagues
  2. Will hit the road running, showing great initiative from day one
  3. Will quickly develop a nuanced understanding of our culture and working practices
  4. Enjoys the challenge of building and maintaining talented teams across a business
  5. Adaptable to changing priorities
