Job description

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to establish and lead our internal recruitment function, transforming how we attract, engage and retain permanent employees and specialist contractors.

As a growing management consultancy with approximately 40 permanent and contract professionals, we source candidates through a range of channels, including our professional networks, direct recruitment activity and external recruitment agencies.

Our ambition is to develop a sustainable, cost-effective internal recruitment capability, supported by a strong network of directly engaged consultants. This is a standalone role, with administrative support, combining strategic ownership with hands‑on recruitment delivery.

The successful candidate will have strong consulting recruitment experience, an established contractor network and the commercial judgement to align hiring with client delivery needs and profitable growth.

About Transform Together

Our mission is to enable people to live and work to their greatest potential. We are a consultancy full of business and technology transformation specialists who share the same values, attitude and work ethic. We believe that we do our best work with clients when we collaborate, feel truly valued and put happiness at the forefront of our operating model.

At Transform Together, we help clients define, design, assess and deliver their transformation initiatives. But make no mistake, delivery and measurability are at the forefront of our consulting model. Our fresh, innovative viewpoint and delivery discipline create a competitive advantage, which is evident in our growth rate; we have maintained a triple digit growth rate year-on-year.

We are a delivery and team-oriented firm looking for like-minded individuals who have a passion for value creation. In return, you will be rewarded in ways that other consultancies don’t: all-inclusive weekends away to the world’s best cities, a fantastic array of benefits and most importantly, you’ll always be treated with respect.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish scalable recruitment processes, policies, reporting and governance
  • Develop a structured approach to workforce planning in collaboration with senior leadership and project delivery teams
  • Establish recruitment priorities aligned to the business development pipeline and forecast client demand
  • Develop recruitment management information, including direct hire ratios, cost per hire, time to fill and contractor availability
Direct recruitment and contractor network development
  • Lead recruitment for consulting and client delivery roles across operational excellence, business transformation, programme delivery and Data & AI
  • Build and maintain a high-quality, directly accessible contractor talent pool
  • Leverage an existing professional network to accelerate access to experienced consultants
  • Operational excellence and process improvement, including Lean, Six Sigma and process mapping
  • Business analysis, requirements management and process design
  • Business transformation, operating model change and technology adoption
  • Data analysis, data modelling, data quality and governance

  • Agree contractor rates and margin targets with commercial leadership, negotiating competitive rates while maintaining quality and engagement
  • Track recruitment savings and balance resourcing costs, contractor availability and client project profitability
Stakeholder engagement and delivery
  • Stay closely integrated with the team to understand current and anticipated resourcing needs across the sales pipeline and client engagements
  • Translate client requirements into practical recruitment and sourcing plans
  • Personally manage recruitment for critical and specialist roles
  • Develop trusted relationships with candidates, contractors and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate with administrative support to ensure effective candidate management, compliance checks and onboarding
Risk, compliance and governance
  • Establish appropriate processes for contractor engagement, including IR35 status assessment arrangements and associated responsibilities
  • Ensure recruitment and candidate-data processes comply with UK GDPR and relevant employment requirements
  • Work with finance, HR and legal advisers on contractor onboarding, contractual arrangements and employment status risks
  • Maintain appropriate documentation, approvals and audit trails
