Job summary

Volta, the AI infrastructure platform, is seeking a Talent Partner embedded in WNTD's RPO team to recruit for data centre design and construction across Europe. You will build pipelines, source candidates from hyperscale and mission-critical environments, and manage from initial outreach to offer.

You will work closely with European project leaders, map markets, advise on compensation, and deliver timely shortlists while building relations with senior professionals across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting data centre design, engineering or construction professionals.
• Strong direct sourcing, headhunting and talent-mapping capability.
• Understanding of data centre development and construction lifecycle.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, civil, structural disciplines.
• Ability to deliver specialist and leadership hires across Europe.
• Translate complex requirements into effective search strategies.
• Manage multiple vacancies across countries and stages.
• Experience in hyperscale, colocation, EPC, HPC or AI infra is a plus.

ABOUT VOLTA

Volta is the category-defining, fully vertically integrated AI infrastructure platform from capital to clusters to software, under a founder-led enterprise. Our mission is The Utility of Compute : AI infrastructure as dependable and available as electricity, for every organization that needs it. Launched with a $10B strategic partnership with one of the leading frontier AI labs, a Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz, and a $5B AI Infrastructure Fund, Volta is building the infrastructure layer of the AI era from the ground up. We are 100+ people across London, Palo Alto, and New York, with rapid growth expectations to hundreds.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Volta's first AI factory is a 133MW site in Norway built on NVIDIA Vera Rubin systems, with a contracted power pipeline of more than 1GW across Europe and North America behind it. Delivering that means hiring project directors, design managers, construction leaders and specialist engineers at a pace most companies never attempt.

This role sits within WNTD's dedicated RPO team, embedded directly into Volta as a true extension of the business. As a Talent Partner, you will run searches across Volta's data centre design and construction organisation in Europe finding, engaging and securing the people who will design, build and commission these sites.

The scope covers the full delivery organisation: design, engineering, construction, project delivery, project controls, procurement, commercial and contracts management, quality, commissioning and health and safety. You will work directly with the leaders running the build, understand each project and technical requirement, and get ahead of demand with pipelines built before roles open.

This is a role for a genuine headhunter. You will build relationships with people delivering hyperscale, colocation and mission-critical projects across Europe, and bring them into conversations they would not have found on their own.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for data centre design and construction roles across Europe
• Directly source and headhunt candidates from hyperscale, colocation, EPC, consultancy and mission-critical construction environments
• Recruit project directors, construction managers, design managers, programme managers and technical leaders
• Build pipelines across electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, architectural and controls engineering
• Recruit specialists across project controls, planning, cost management, procurement, commercial and contracts management, quality, commissioning and EHS
• Map target markets and build location-specific sourcing strategies for new AI factory developmentsDeliver strong shortlists at the right level, at pace not one candidate at a time
• Advise leaders on talent availability, compensation, location strategy and competitor activity
• Manage candidates from first approach through to offer and onboarding
• Maintain accurate recruitment data, forecasts and pipeline reporting

WHAT YOU BRING

• Strong experience recruiting data centre design, engineering or construction professionals
• Strong direct sourcing, headhunting and talent-mapping capability you find people others cannot
• A good understanding of the data centre development and construction lifecycle
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, commissioning or project delivery disciplines
• A proven ability to deliver specialist and leadership hires across European markets
• The ability to translate complex technical requirements into effective search strategies
• Confidence managing multiple critical vacancies across different countries and project stages
• Experience within hyperscale, colocation, EPC, high-performance computing or AI infrastructure would be advantageous
