Job summary

Titan Tail Lifts is seeking an experienced Tail Lift Engineer to join our expanding North West team. The role is mobile across the North West with workshop duties supporting repairs, refurbishments and vehicle preparation, and you will be part of a friendly, professional team.

Candidates should have strong hydraulic, electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills and hold a full UK driving licence. We offer a company van, pension, ongoing training and clear opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Tail lift engineering experience is required or strongly preferred.
• Experience repairing and maintaining commercial vehicle tail lifts.
• Ability to confidently diagnose hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults.
• Able to work independently and in a team, with strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults on tail lifts, shutters and moving deck systems.
• Carry out repairs, servicing, LOLER inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.
• Respond to customer breakdowns professionally and safely.
• Complete job sheets, inspection reports and service documentation accurately.
• Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.
• Support workshop operations when required.
