Job summary

Butler Rose Procurement & Supply Chain is excited to recruit a skilled Production Planner to manage tactical planning for a busy manufacturing environment in the South Lakes - Ulverston area. You will own the 0-30 day horizon, ensuring work orders are material-ready, capacity-ready and released to meet customer commitments.

Working closely with Production, Purchasing, Stores, Engineering, Quality, Dispatch and Sales, you will drive recovery actions, optimise material availability and maintain

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or equivalent in manufacturing planning.
• Experience in production planning, control, or scheduling.
• Experience managing production schedules and material availability.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Execute and maintain the 0-30 day production plan across rolling horizon.
• Release and progress work orders in line with priorities.
• Ensure orders are material-clear, capacity-clear and ready for manufacture.
• Monitor schedule adherence and drive recovery actions for delays.
• Develop and maintain recovery plans for overdue orders.
• Provide accurate planning data to support capacity planning.
