Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced TA3 Early Years / Teaching Assistant to support a Leyland school after October half term, potentially through February half term. This full-time role involves running a small nursery provision, working with the EYFS teacher to deliver a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a TA3 Early Years qualification, have nursery experience, and be confident planning and delivering activities within EYFS guidance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a TA3 Early Years qualification that counts towards the nursery ratio.

TA3 Early Years - Nursery Cover | Leyland

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced TA3 Early Years / Teaching Assistant to support a school in Leyland on a planned absence, starting after October half term and potentially continuing through to February half term.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position, where the successful candidate will be responsible for running the nursery provision. The nursery currently has a small number of children and is supported by Early Years, meaning you will work closely alongside the EYFS teacher to provide a nurturing, engaging and supportive learning environment.

Please note: To meet the required staffing ratio, the successful candidate must hold a recognised TA3 Early Years qualification that counts towards the EYFS ratio.

We're ideally looking for someone who:

• Holds a TA3 Early Years qualification that counts towards the required nursery ratio
• Has previous experience working within Early Years / Nursery
• Has experience of running or leading a nursery setting
• Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Is confident planning and delivering engaging activities
• Can work independently while working closely with the wider Early Years team
• Is nurturing, enthusiastic and committed to providing excellent care and learning opportunities
