All Saints Carshalton CofE Primary School invites applications for a Teaching Assistant / Midday Supervisor / Learning Support Assistant. The post is 32.5 hours per week, term time plus one week (39 weeks per year), supporting Year 5 and Year 6 pupils in a caring, Christian school environment.

The successful candidate will be energetic, patient, and dedicated to helping pupils build self-esteem and achieve good progress.

Qualificações

• Experience as a teaching assistant or learning support role preferred.
• Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Ability to run interventions and support pupils individually or in small groups.

Responsabilidades

• Support pupils in Years 5 and 6 to build self-esteem and progress.
• Assist teaching staff with lessons and classroom activities.
• Provide lunchtime supervision and positive behaviour support.
• Establish nurturing relationships to promote a positive learning environment.

We have a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our caring and committed team of Teaching Assistants at All Saints, Carshalton.

We require an experienced, dedicated teaching assistant and Learning Support Assistant. This role will be supporting children across Years 5 and Year 6. The role will involve establishing a nurturing relationship with the pupils in order to support them with building self-esteem, independence and confidence. You will need to demonstrate competence in supporting students within a learning environment to encourage them to achieve and make good progress.

We are a friendly, popular and over-subscribed school graded ‘Good’ at our last Ofsted Inspection in October 2024 and ‘Excellent’ in our last SIAMs Inspection in September 2019. We joined the Southwark Diocese Board of Education Multi Academy Trust in September 2017 and work closely in a strong team. We have very close links with All Saints Parish church and the local community. Our school is in a wonderful location, close to parks and the beautiful Carshalton ponds.
