Location: Stretford, Greater Manchester, North West England

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £89 - £100 Per day

  • Supporting teachers in planning and delivering lessons
  • Assisting students with their learning and development
  • Supervising classes during teacher absence
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
  • Providing one-to-one support for students with additional needs
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Previous experience working in a school setting
  • Experience supporting students with diverse needs
  • Understanding of the UK education system
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • First Aid certification
  • SEN (Special Educational Needs) training
  • Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  • Classroom-based role with some outdoor supervision duties

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
