What is the purpose of the role?

The job holder is responsible for providing efficient, comprehensive compliance support to various regions within Just Mortgages. The job provides support for the business through delivery of key compliance activities to mitigate risks to our business, ensure excellent customer outcomes and meet our regulatory and Network requirements.

The main responsibilities of a Regional Quality Manager

  • Responsible for the delivery of a prescribed internal audit programme within Just Mortgages to ensure regulatory compliance and excellent customer outcomes
  • Ad hoc auditing for specific risk areas, when required
  • Responsible for annual competency assessments, to ensure Openwork and Just Mortgages standards are being met
  • To have oversight of sales quality within the area and provide on-going support and coaching in relation to sales quality to ensure minimum standards are met
  • Regular attendance at team meetings to provide updates and training on compliance issues
  • Provide regular reports and management information to senior management
  • Responsible for production of monthly KPIs to highlight any areas of regulatory risk within the team
  • Provide cover for supervisors within the team in case of holidays or illness
  • Provide proactive compliance support and coaching as necessary within the team

Essential skills and competencies of a Regional Quality Manager

  • Full CeMap qualification, or equivalent
  • Previous supervisory / management experience essential
  • Previous sales experience essential
  • Previous experience of fraud investigation desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • IT literate – Excel, Word, and bespoke FS systems
