Systems Test Engineer

Location: Cambridge

Salary: Upto £55K

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Hardware Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans for hardware components and systems.
2. Field Testing: Set up and conduct field tests to evaluate hardware performance in real-world environments. Collect and analyze data to identify issues and collaborate with engineering, support, and software teams to resolve hardware problems. Work closely with hardware design engineers to understand specifications and testing requirements. Participate in developing testing methodologies and best practices.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience in hardware testing and field testing.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Familiarity with industry standards and protocols.
• Experience with testing and diagnostic software and hardware.
• Knowledge of hardware design principles.
• Test automation skills using C++, C#, or Python.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and firmware testing.
• Willingness to travel for field testing as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
