Job summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Systems Test Engineer for a 6-month contract role within their Cyber division, focusing on systems lifecycle expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Verification and Validation activities
• Developing high-quality test artefacts aligned with ITEAP standards
• Writing technical test plans and procedures
• Managing defects and overseeing rectification and regression testing
• Conducting hands-on development and formal acceptance testing of hardware, software, or firmware solutions
• Optimizing testing processes and methods
• Managing work packages to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery

Candidate requirements:

• Proficiency in Python scripting and Robot Framework
• Experience balancing manual and automated testing for comprehensive V&V campaigns

Additional information: This role is outside IR35 and offers market-rate compensation. The position is site-based initially in Greenford, moving to Maidenhead later this year, with a 4-day condensed workweek.
