About

We are looking for a Systems Team Leader at our state-of-the-art facility near Bournemouth International Airport. As the Systems Team Leader, you will manage the product development lifecycle from initial concept through certification to customer acceptance.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Define system architecture based on required functionalities.
  2. Develop and maintain system requirement specifications and interface design documents.
  3. Create system integration, verification, and acceptance test procedures.
  4. Participate in system and subsystem testing, generating test reports.
  5. Support development to meet system, hardware, and software requirements.
  6. Support qualification activities and develop qualification plans.
  7. Provide technical support and determine acceptance of subcontracted deliverables.
  8. Maintain current technical knowledge and apply it to design solutions.
  9. Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.
  10. Support certification activities for products.
  11. Ensure tasks are completed per project plan.
  12. Take technical responsibility for design tasks.
  13. Participate in lifecycle design reviews and coordinate entry/exit criteria.
  14. Mentor and develop system engineers.
  15. Define work packages for project planning and bidding.
  16. Generate reports for work packages.
Your Expertise
  • Experience in requirements elicitation and understanding good requirements.
  • Proven track record in systems engineering throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Ability to produce formal project documentation.
  • Knowledge of validation and verification methodologies.
  • Degree/HND in a relevant field, or relevant experience in exceptional cases.
  • Experience with requirements management tools like DOORS.
  • Knowledge of standards such as ARP4754, DO-254, DO-178, DO-326, DO-160, ED112a is desirable.
