Job description

Location: Changi Business Park

Remuneration: Up to $5,500 + Annual Variable Bonus + Allowances

Contract: 1-Year under TG payroll, convertible to client’s headcount based on performance (Long-term project)

Role Summary

The ideal candidate should be an experienced Batch Processing, Reporting, and Interface Management Specialist with a strong background in supporting complex financial systems.

Job Responsibilities

Batch Processing:

• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot batch jobs.
• Manage report generation, data migration, transformation, and system maintenance tasks.
• Address batch-related issues and enhancements across systems and entities (e.g., Gift City, HKL, SG).

Reporting:

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot scheduled and ad-hoc reports.
• Create custom reports, resolve inaccuracies, and support report-related changes across different systems and regions.

Interface Management:

• Oversee interfaces between systems, including data and server migrations.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and handle various file formats and transfer protocols.
• Manage interface-related compliance (e.g., MAS655).

Database Management:

• Assist with database migrations and cleanup tasks, particularly related to OPC migrations.

Project Support:

• Support in-house projects by providing technical expertise.
• Resolve issues related to new feature implementation and system enhancements.
• Provide UAT support and testing for newly implemented features.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Min 3 years of relevant experience in batch processing, reporting, and interface management within complex financial systems, ideally related to trade finance.
• High level of technical expertise and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong skills in data analysis, system integration, and ensuring the reliability of financial systems.
• Ability to maintain smooth batch operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support system interface reliability.
• Mandatory Skills: Batch Processing, Reporting, Interface Management, File Handling
• Database: DB2 / Oracle
• Tools: TWS / Connectivity, JCL, Linux / Unix / AIX, VSAM, CD
• Good to Have: COBOL, CICS, SSH
