Systems Research Engineer (Graduate positions) - Distributed Systems / OS / AI Systems / C / C++

We're working with a true leader in research, development, and innovation, and we are looking for multiple graduates for some Systems Research Engineers to join their team.

In this role, you will be working on R&D to explore emerging systems across areas such as Cloud, Distributed Systems, AI Systems and/or Operating Systems.

This is a full time PAYE contract for 12 months and there may be extensions available depending on your right to work status.

It's based in Edinburgh and if you are not based in Edinburgh, you will be required to relocate.

For this Systems Research Engineer (Graduate) position, I'm interested in speaking to people with the following:

• BA, Masters or PhD - Can be newly graduated or graduating 2026
• Experience in any of the following: operating systems, Distributed systems or machine learning systems
• Experienced with C/C++ or open to others programming languages
• Must have full right to work in the UK without sponsorship. Post study work visas are fine as long as you can work full-time and have a minimum of 12 months on this
