Job summary

LÖDIGE Industries is seeking a time served engineer for maintenance visits, repairs and breakdowns across London and the UK. You will install or commission Lodge equipment and work to safety standards, with travel as required.

You will read electrical and mechanical drawings, plan work with the Service Co-ordinator, and participate in on-call shifts while maintaining a professional appearance and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Time served engineer with one of the following: relevant engineering qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Familiar with reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to work to safety standards and procedures.

Job description

Duties

• Carry out scheduled maintenance visits, repairs and breakdowns as instructed
• Install or Commission Lodge equipment as instructed
• To carry out all work in accordance with company procedures, standards, safety policies and time frames
• Able to read and understand electrical, mechanical drawings
• Problem/fault finding capability
• To prioritise and plan work schedule in advance with Service Co‑ordinator
• Communicate precisely both in writing and verbally
• Work from own initiative with minimum supervision
• Work as a team member as required on multi-person activities
• Maintain smart appearance
• Participate in on‑call rota and shift system
• Work overtime & travel as and when business requires
• Maintain a full clean driving license
• Operate company Service Management system using smart phone to report attendance; site surveys and equipment information

Essential Requirements

• CRC (Criminal Record Check)
• Disclosure of Scotland (Certification)
• Comply with company handbook and relevant company Health and Safety standards
• Comply with company vehicle policy

Location

London - within 45 mins of Heathrow Airport

Routine UK wide travel and occasional overseas
