Our Opportunity:

This full-time Systems IVVQ Engineer will work on various projects within the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) business, performing IVVQ activities for assigned projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Demonstrating that solutions satisfy the overall approved operational needs set out by the customer.
  2. Test and Integration
  3. Test Specification Writing
  4. Test execution
  5. Problem investigation

What are we looking for?

Skills:

  1. An understanding of System Engineering and related processes, including knowledge of Systems Lifecycles.
  2. An ability to work with multiple technologies, integrating and verifying them into a system to fully satisfy customer requirements.
  3. Ability to develop collaborative ways of working with stakeholders and disciplines to establish a system-centric approach.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical and complex problems effectively.
  5. A team player with a positive attitude, effective in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  6. Eligibility for SC security clearance.

Experience:

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor Degree (BEng, BSc) in a scientific or engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience with requirements management using DOORS.
  3. Experience leading or working within IVVQ of solutions/products.
  4. Knowledge of the engineering lifecycle from concept to testing and updates.

This role requires SC Clearance. If not currently held, successful candidates will need to undergo and maintain SC Clearance. Refer to the UKSV website for guidance.

Residency in the UK for the last 5 years is generally required for full SC clearance, with some cases allowing 3 years.
