Systems Integration Operations Lead (SAP CPI)

Required Skills

• Proven hands-on experience managing high-availability SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP AEM, and related environments.
• Deep expertise in SAP CPI iFlows, adapters, Groovy scripting, and exception handling.
• Strong understanding of SAP API Management (Integration Suite) and SAP Edge Integration Cell.
• Proficiency with SAP Advanced Event Mesh, message routing, and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, on-premise SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA), and integrations via REST, SOAP, sFTP, JDBC, and other protocols.
• Programming skills in Groovy, Java, and XSLT with a focus on security, data protection, and performance optimization.
• Experience managing transport and change governance, incident triage, and root cause analysis.
• Skilled in monitoring tools like SAP Cloud ALM, observability platforms, and incident management platforms such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Adept at documentation using Confluence and following agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with SAP Open Connectors and Edge computing concepts.
• Knowledge of automation tools and scripting to enhance operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous integration/deployment pipelines, and incident response automation.
• Industry certifications related to SAP Integration Suite or Cloud Platform.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing enterprise integration platforms in a production environment, preferably within retail or luxury brands.
• Prior leadership experience leading operational teams and managing cross-functional projects.

• Ability to work remotely, with occasional travel for training or strategic meetings as needed.
• Flexibility to participate in on-call rotations, ensuring 24/7 availability for incident response.
