About The Role

As a Systems Engineer Team Lead, you will be responsible for a team of Systems Engineers working on exciting, cutting-edge technologies. The team will handle the design, development, and support of our products. The Systems Engineer Team Leader will be based at either our Barnstaple, Bristol, or Beckington site, with flexible working arrangements. The salary for this role is up to £75k, depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

  1. Team Leadership and Management (25%): Ensure team members have the necessary tools and equipment, allocate projects based on business priorities, and support their growth and development.
  2. Business Development Support (25%): Provide technical expertise for proposals and bids, evaluate new technologies, and support technical work package definition and resource estimation.
  3. Project Delivery (50%): Lead the delivery of engineering work packages, coordinate system integration, verification, validation activities, manage issue resolution, and oversee requirements management and analyses.

The skills you need

  • Experience in a similar role, with extensive knowledge of Verification and Validation
  • Understanding of requirements capture and experience with DOORS
  • Previous leadership and team management experience
