Systems Engineering Practitioner - 36145162 - £33.88/hr umbrella rate

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain systems engineering competence within the team, ensuring processes meet quality standards.
  2. Collaborate with end-users to understand their needs and translate them into efficient processes.
  3. Work with business analysts and process experts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Guide the development of processes, tools, and training to improve systems engineering practices.
  5. Support product owners and developers in applying systems engineering principles.
  6. Identify and track KPIs for systems engineering processes to drive improvements.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Systems Engineering Practitioner with knowledge of the lifecycle.
  2. Hands-on experience with systems engineering tools such as IBM DOORS, Rhapsody, or Catia Magic.
  3. Experience in requirements management and process development, ideally within defence, aerospace, rail, or automotive sectors.
  4. Understanding of system modelling and functional safety practices.
  5. Ability to influence and drive process changes successfully.
