Job Description

• Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office or on client site, with flexibility based on role or assignment.
• Work from either a PA office and/or client location at least 3 times per week.
• Travel to client sites as required.
• Location options include Bristol, London (Victoria), or Manchester offices.

Our Systems Insights & Solutions team seeks exceptional Systems Engineering Consultants with experience across sectors like Defence, Security, Public Services, Transport, Energy, and Utilities. You will work in blended teams, partnering with specialists to turn complex challenges into opportunities, applying proven Systems Engineering and Systems Thinking techniques.

Our success is driven by understanding the problem and solution spaces, from business needs to component design, leveraging diverse expertise. We excel in developing practical, innovative systems for complex issues, delivering tailored solutions including Decision & Planning Support, System of Systems & Enterprise Design, Complex Engineering Delivery, and Systems Analysis & Resilience.

Examples of Projects

• Counter online crime through enterprise setup involving law enforcement, regulators, and social media.
• Design and procurement of UK MOD’s future satellite communication services.
• International collaboration on next-generation fighter jets.
• Embedding systems approach in capability management for UK Defence.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in Systems Engineering and Systems Thinking in resolving complex client challenges.
• Strong analytical and creative thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client engagement.
• Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle.

Desirable Attributes

• Expertise in solution definition, system boundaries, and stakeholder identification.
• Experience with system of systems and industry-standard modelling tools.
• Experience in process improvement and collaborative working.
• Ability to work independently as a client point of contact.
