Position Available: Systems Engineer (Mission Planning)

Location: Gloucestershire

Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 + Bonus

Experience needed: We are looking for a systems engineer with experience across the full systems lifecycle, including requirements capture and configuration management. Understanding of mission planning principles would be an advantage.

About the role: We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join a dynamic, international team developing Mission Planning products for key domestic and export customers. You will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the full systems lifecycle from requirements capture to verification and certification.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with UK and French Systems and Software teams, as well as other stakeholders, to ensure the delivery of a robust, high-quality system.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct systems design activities for mission planning products.
2. Provide key inputs to requirements capture, design freezes, system integration, and testing through to full product verification and certification.
3. Work closely with UK and French Systems and Software teams, as well as other parties, to enable robust design and system validation.

What we need from you:

• Systems Engineering expertise, with experience covering the full development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of requirements capture and configuration management (e.g., DOORS).
• Experience working in a complex engineering or manufacturing environment (e.g., defence, aerospace, automotive).
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Understanding of mission planning principles (beneficial but not essential).
