Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Systems Engineer - Rigs Integration in Bristol for a full-time hybrid role. You’ll support rig development across the complete engineering lifecycle, from requirements capture to design integration and issue resolution, acting as the bridge between rig delivery teams, design authorities and customers.

This role offers exposure to both physical and virtual rig activities, with opportunities to contribute to GCAP programmes and future defence portfolio initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience working as a Systems Engineer within a complex engineering environment.
• Proven ability to manage technical interfaces and deliver systems-level solutions.
• Experience in rig testing, test integration, or supporting development projects in defence/aerospace sectors.
• Comfortable leading cross-functional collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
• Eligible to obtain BPSS clearance with a view to progressing to SC in future.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the full lifecycle of test rig development, from concept through to delivery
• Managing and translating system-level requirements into technical solutions
• Acting as the key interface between multi-disciplinary teams including design, test and customer stakeholders
• Proactively addressing integration and interface issues across the product lifecycle
• Supporting strategic programmes such as GCAP and future opportunities in the defence portfolio
