Thales is offering a Systems Engineering Apprentice position in the United Kingdom, delivering a BEng Applied Professional Engineering Degree Apprenticeship with the University of Warwick. The program blends on-campus blocks with online learning, and includes work on live projects within the Systems Engineering team.

You will learn engineering lifecycle processes, requirements management, IVVQ activities and professional engineering behaviours, with a view to securing a Chartered Engineer status

Qualifications

A Levels requirement: 112 UCAS Tariff points with maths and another STEM subject.
GCSE requirement: five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above including English, Maths and a STEM subject.

Responsibilities

Supporting systems requirements and design activities
Contributing to project reviews
Participating in system testing and validation activities
Assisting with engineering investigations and problem solving
Visiting customer sites, platforms and installations to support surveys, trials and system deployment
Working with experienced engineers on live projects

Education

A Levels 112 UCAS Tariff points incl Maths grade B and STEM subject

GCSEs five GCSEs grade 4/C or above incl English Language, Mathematics, Additional STEM subject
