Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Modelling Ontologist to join our team in the defence sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modelling, systems engineering, and the application of industry-standard approaches to data management. This role is crucial in utilizing existing data models to support the standardization of data definitions and enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our systems engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Model Utilization:
• Leverage existing data models within systems engineering to support the standardization of data definitions across projects
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in data representation and integration
• Data Modelling:
• Develop, manage, and refine data models to meet the needs of various defence projects
• Ensure that data models adhere to industry standards and best practices for data interoperability and integration
• Systems Engineering Support:
• Provide support in systems engineering by applying data modelling techniques to improve data management and integration
• Collaborate with systems engineering teams to ensure that data models align with engineering requirements and objectives
• Industry Approach Understanding:
• Stay updated with the latest approaches and best practices in data modelling within the defence and related industries
• Apply emerging industry approaches to enhance data modelling practices and outcomes
• Collaboration and Communication:
