Job summary

SoCode Recruitment is seeking a Systems Engineer to shape next-generation sensor control systems within Cambridge's tech ecosystem. You will own control loop design, model and validate algorithms, and contribute from concept to validation.

Key responsibilities include designing sensor control algorithms, modelling and validating systems, and defining electronics requirements (MCU/FPGA/ASIC). Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++ is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong grounding in control theory, signal processing, and system identification.
• Practical experience designing and testing high-performance control systems.
• Knowledge of algorithms such as PID, PLL, LQR, and Kalman filters.
• Experience developing in C/C++, with version control (e.g. Git).
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, including model-based design and code generation.
