Systems Engineer (BMS) - Remote

A globally recognized facilities maintenance enterprise is seeking an experienced BMS Engineer to join their smart division on an exciting global contract. This position is fully remote, primarily responsible for sites in the US, offering unique working hours from 6am-3pm, allowing you to enjoy your evenings.

Primary Duties:
  1. Program control applications using various software tools to support operator workstations, DDC field panels, and third-party integration devices across multiple communication protocols.
  2. Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications to verify proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposals, and design documentation.
  3. Provide remote technical support to installers and customers; may also be required to offer on-site support.
  4. Conduct system analysis and diagnostics, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions where possible.
  5. Respond to customer inquiries via telephone and email, assessing their needs and providing clear, accurate responses.
  6. Communicate resolutions effectively in both verbal and written formats, ensuring they are understandable to customers.
  7. Document problems and resolutions, reporting findings to the Account Executive for follow-up.
  8. If necessary, recreate customer problems in-house for testing solutions.
  9. Prepare accurate documentation and paperwork.
  10. Keep customers and management informed of any ongoing or recurring issues related to products, services, or customers.
