Systems Engineer – All Levels

- Laser target designators and ranging systems

We are recruiting for various Systems Engineering roles suited to diverse backgrounds and expertise. We will match you to projects where you can thrive and grow based on your skills and experience.
Key Skills You’ll Use & Develop:
Problem Definition & Systems Thinking
- Break down complex engineering problems into manageable components.
- Define system-level requirements based on stakeholder needs.
- Design high-performance system architectures using model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
- Simulate and refine system behaviour with tools like Simulink and MATLAB.
Data Processing & Analysis
- Apply signal and image processing techniques to extract insights.
- Develop multi-sensor data fusion and tracking capabilities for real-time applications.
Integration, Testing & Validation
- Investigate system anomalies using trial data to ensure performance.
- Design and implement verification & validation strategies across the system lifecycle.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop cutting-edge defence solutions.
- Depending on experience, lead initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and influence roadmaps.
How You Will Use Your Skills:
- Contribute to concept studies, exploring new technologies for future platforms.
- Work with stakeholders to translate operational needs into engineering solutions.
- Model, simulate, and analyze system performance to inform design decisions.
- Troubleshoot and improve existing systems through testing.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience leading systems engineering projects from start to finish.
- Passion for systems engineering.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage priorities.
- A science-based Honours degree or equivalent industry experience.
