Job summary

CIS Ltd. is seeking an IT engineer to support key business IT systems across remote or hybrid environments. The role requires hands-on experience with Windows Server, RDS, Exchange, and Microsoft 365, and a solid understanding of networking.

You will work with a team of engineers to provide reliable support, deliver excellent customer service, and contribute to ongoing improvements while developing technical skills and a rewarding career path within CIS.

Qualifications

• 18–24 months of IT support experience.
• Solid Windows Server administration experience (2019+).
• RDS/Terminal Services experience.
• Exchange Server 2019+ experience.
• Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint and Entra ID.
• Networking basics: DNS, DHCP, AD.
• Physical and virtual Windows Server installation.

Responsibilities

• Provide support across Windows Server, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 in remote/hybrid environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for diverse platforms.
• Collaborate with system engineers and other teams to resolve incidents.

The successful candidate must have experience in supporting the majority of the following technologies:

• At least 18-24 months support\t troubleshooting experience
• Server Virtualisation – preferably VMware
• Windows Server Administration – preferably Windows Server 2019 or above
• Terminal Services (RDS) – preferably Windows Server 2019 or above
• Microsoft Exchange Server – preferably Exchange 2019 or above
• Microsoft 365 experience – – Exchange Online, SharePoint & Entra ID
• Server installation; physical and virtual Windows Server
• Solid understanding of networking services; DNS, DHCP, AD
• Experience with layers 2 & 3 networking including switching, WAN, LAN, NATs and firewall rules

Additionally, experience in the following technologies would be beneficial:

• Sophos Anti-Virus and other Sophos technologies
• Veeam Backup & Replication
• Microsoft SQL Server
