Systems Engineer - Defence Technology Programme

Location: Stevenage | Hybrid Working: 3 days on-site, 2 remote | Salary: Up to £55,000

Join a pioneering defence programme and make your mark as a Systems Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to next-generation combat air systems and advanced weapon effects management. You will work within a dynamic, collaborative team, helping to deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency and precision.

Due to the nature of work at our client's site, these vacancies are only open to British Citizens who hold SC clearance or can obtain it. This is a permanent role.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate system concepts, architectures, and trades
  • Elicit and decompose requirements for complex systems
  • Work with design teams to define design principles and constraints
  • Support cross-functional assessment and analysis activities
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Present technical solutions to senior stakeholders and influence design decisions
