Job summary

Gold Group Ltd in Rochester is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to work on cutting-edge aerospace systems at Senior to Principal level, with salary reflecting skill and responsibility. You will undertake requirements management, MBSE-based architecture development, and real-time system integration and testing across electronic, mechanical, optical and software disciplines.

Sole UK nationals are required due to security clearance restrictions.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering subject (e.g., Systems/ Electronics/ Physics/ Mathematics)
• Experience in requirements management and design analyses using listed tools
• Experience with MBSE and SysML methodologies
• Experience liaising with customers/suppliers on technical aspects

Responsibilities

• Understand customers' complex needs and manage requirements at multiple levels
• Develop complex system architectures and sub-systems using an MBSE approach
• Integrate, analyse and test real-time systems across multiple disciplines

Job description

Experienced Systems Engineer needed in Rochester to work on cutting edge systems within the aerospace industry.

Positions are available from Senior to Principal level with salary offered reflecting skill level & responsibility.

What the role of the Systems Engineer entails:

Some of the main duties of the Systems Engineer will include:

• Understanding our customers' complex needs and collaborating to develop, validate and manage requirements at multiple levels
• Developing complex system architectures and sub-systems using a Model Based Systems Engineering approach
• Being involved in the Integration, analysis and test of real time systems containing multiple technical disciplines such as electronic, mechanical, optical and software sub-systems
• Taking accountability for collaborative technical work package execution and associated outcomes and providing guidance, coaching and nurturing talent in other engineers

What experience you need to be the successful Systems Engineer:

• A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant Scientific/Engineering subject (e.g., Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics or Mathematics)
• Proven experience in requirements management, design analyses, modelling and simulation, using tools such as DOORS, Siemens Polarion, Enterprise Architect, MATLAB and/or Simulink and design methodologies such as SysML
• Customer and/or supplier liaison experience for technical aspects, verifying and obtaining agreement that customer needs are satisfied
• It is desirable that you will have experience in integration, test, and verification of real time and/or safety related systems, with understanding of safety assessment processes including how these processes influence the design
