Job description

A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join the team based in Canary Wharf. As the business embraces flexibility, you are able to work from home 4 days per week. Please note, there is an on-call rota that you will be expected to partake in.

Your primary responsibility will be to support and maintain the IT infrastructure including servers, storage, network and cloud services. You will monitor and enhance system performance, lead infrastructure projects and mentor junior team members. You will implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions and collaborate with an MSP firm to support business operations, and will also provide 3rd line user support when required.

In order to be suitable for this role you will be a consummate communicator with demonstratable expertise in the administration and support of Windows Server, Office 365, Azure, Active Directory and VMware. In addition to this you will have strong PowerShell scripting skills. Any experience with Linux operating systems is advantageous to your application but by no means necessary.
