Job DescriptionSenior Systems / Infrastructure Engineer - Insurance - London / Remote - Permanent

Our client, a global leader in the insurance industry, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the team and support critical infrastructure and application services - both on prem and Azure cloud.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on role and brings strong troubleshooting ability, a proactive mindset, and a deep understanding of Microsoft-based systems and cloud platforms!

You’ll be great for this role if you have:

• Strong background with Windows Server, IIS, and Azure environments




• Knowledge and expertise of Kubernetes and containerized infrastructure (experience with D2iQ is a plus)




• Practical experience with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, and GitHub




• Familiarity with SQL Server and basic query skills; experience with MongoDB or CosmosDB is a plus




• Experience deploying and maintaining applications in both cloud and on-premise environments




• Confidence in troubleshooting issues using tools like Dynatrace, Seq, and Event Viewer




• Understanding of PowerShell, Azure CLI, and infrastructure automation tools




• Ability to interpret and work with C# application code for deployment or issue resolution




• Comfortable collaborating using tools such as ServiceNow, Azure DevOps Boards, and Git




• A collaborative, team-first mindset and willingness to share knowledge and support others

The role is offered fully remote, with offices based London and is paying between £85,000 - £95,000. The successful candidate will ideally be able to start within 6 weeks.
