Job summary

The University of Edinburgh is seeking a Systems Developer and Administrator to support the School of Informatics' research and teaching computing needs. You will help manage GPU compute clusters, deploy resources for taught postgraduate students, and contribute to the maintenance and development of local infrastructure and services.

This full-time role (35 hours per week) offers a fixed-term contract for 12 months, with flexible and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Experience in system administration and managing compute resources.
• Ability to deploy and maintain university computing services.
• Experience supporting research or teaching computing environments.

Responsibilities

• Support management of the School’s GPU compute clusters.
• Deploy resources for taught postgraduate students and researchers.
