Days based Monday – Friday. Salary: £46,000 to £50,000 + Pension + Benefits. Location: Sheffield.

The Role

Looking for a controls engineer, who will be responsible for delivering electrical & automation related projects including the design, develop, & implement PLC programs of new equipment & system upgrades. You will modify & troubleshoot existing PLC & HMI programs, perform on site system testing, commission & validate automated equipment, and maintain documentation for electrical schematics, program backups & system changes.

The ideal candidate will have experience on PLC programming in an industrial environment with strong understanding of electrical schematics, control panels, sensors & actuators. There will be ongoing training and development, within this structured group, which can in turn lead to future career progression.
