About the Company
Our client, a leading global automation manufacturing company, who are looking to recruit a field-based Systems and Applications Engineer to join their team based in the North Yorkshire.
Systems and Applications Engineer - The Rewards

Systems and Applications Engineer Requirements
  • Minimum of three years work experience with Automation Systems, DCS, PLC/SCADA, SRS
  • Be qualified to at least HNC / HND level in a relevant Engineering discipline
  • Have experience of Quality Control Systems (QCS), on-line measurement devices and paper machine MD & CD controls.
  • Have experience of Hima Safety Instrumented System
  • Know about Functional Safety (TUV)
  • Be qualified to Bachelors degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
  • Have experience of identifying business opportunities at customers sites
  • Have experience of providing detailed project/service documentation in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ability to diagnose, repair and maintain electrical, mechanical and instrumentation systems
  • Be able to design/generate/modify DCS / SIS application software and hardware to fulfil customer requirements
Systems and Applications Engineer Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and on demand customer service, including software development and documentation, maintenance/inspection of automation systems
  • You will be involved in the delivery of projects, maintenance and breakdown services to UK installed base customers within the Power Generation and Process industries
  • Adhere to regulatory and Company health, safety and environmental policy
  • Required to positively influence the companys reputation by displaying a professional dedication toward customer service.
