Job Description:

Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for a Systems Accountant / Project Manager for a leading professional services firm in Warrington, which has experienced significant growth over the past decade.

The Systems Accountant will lead system development to ensure a robust, value-adding system that enhances data accuracy and supports commercial decision-making. You will oversee ongoing projects across all systems and serve as a liaison between finance and IT.

The Role

1. Ensure systems operate efficiently and effectively, supporting forecasting and financial reporting.
2. Drive continuous system improvement and reporting enhancements.
3. Provide training to maximize system utilization.
4. Develop system enhancements to add value.
5. Successfully implement a replacement financial system for Dimensions.
6. Document, test, and update processes and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting with substantial experience in delivering continuous improvement projects related to finance and reporting systems, and the ability to lead projects and influence senior leadership.

Applicants from similar systems accountant roles in professional services organizations with an accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) are preferred, though qualified by experience candidates will also be considered.
