Overview

You''ll report into the Head of FP&A and collaborate with Data, Taxation and Pricing teams to ensure financial data is accurately captured, interpreted, and communicated. You''ll help translate financial requirements into system design, interrogate customer policy data, and assess how systems transform data to impact financial outcomes - including tax, reporting, and regulatory compliance. You''ll support the FP&A team, including month-end reporting requirements, and other members of the Consumer Roadside Finance team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead month-end reporting and financial data flows across systems
  • Resolve data integrity issues and support transformation programmes
  • Translate complex technical findings into actionable financial insights
  • Support tax compliance, commercial analysis, and stakeholder reporting
  • Collaborate across Finance, IT, and Data teams to improve outcomes

  • What You''ll Be Doing
  • - Interrogate complex data sets using SQL and advanced Excel to support financial analysis and reporting
  • - Identify and resolve data integrity issues across legacy systems and new platforms
  • - Support the data transformation programme by embedding financial requirements in system design
  • - Deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting processes
  • - Provide detailed analysis for tax compliance, commercial opportunities, and stakeholder reporting
  • - Translate technical findings into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, data structures, and accounting principles
  • Advanced SQL and Excel skills; ability to analyse large data sets
  • Experience in complex organisations with legacy systems and transformation programmes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
