A healthcare organization in Barking seeks an experienced CYMHS Psychotherapist or related professional to join their CAMHS team. We are seeking an experienced CYMHS Psychotherapist, CBT therapist, Child and adolescent Psychotherapist, or Systemic Practitioner to join our busy and dynamic CAMHS team in Barking and Dagenham. This post has been created following a recent consultation as the service moves to a new i-THRIVE informed model of delivery. We have a growing and supportive therapy team and are looking for an experienced psychological practitioner who is passionate about young people's mental health and well-being to join us in delivering high-quality and effective CAMHS interventions.
The post-holder will be a postgraduate-qualified Psychotherapist, CBT therapist, Child and adolescent Psychotherapist, or Systemic Practitioner fully registered with the appropriate professional or regulatory body (e.g., HCPC). They will provide clinical interventions and assessments within their professional sphere of expertise in CYPMHS, responsible for assessment, treatment, systematic outcome measurement, and clinical supervision of assistant psychologists throughout the CYPMHS locality teams.
They will ensure that a high-quality, timely, accessible, and evidence-based service is available to all service users. The post-holder will establish and maintain excellent working relationships with wider mental health and wellbeing services and ensure adherence to evidence-based treatments across the team. Responsibilities include delivering and supervising therapeutic interventions such as parent work, group work, school observations, short-term CYPMHS input, and specialist psychological treatments. They will be responsible for all specialist psychological assessments and treatments within their professional sphere within CYPMHS.

This role attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% (Outer London) or 5% (Fringe), with minimum and maximum annual amounts specified.
