Job summary

Wokingham Borough Council is seeking a Systemic Psychotherapist to join the Compass Service within Children’s Services (Help and Protection). Based at Shute End, you will deliver specialist therapeutic interventions for children, young people and families facing complex needs.

This permanent, full-time post offers reflective practice opportunities, collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, and a pathway to influence safeguarding practice while supporting practitioners across the service.

Qualifications

• Experienced working with children, young people and families with complex needs.
• Able to apply systemic theory within safeguarding contexts.
• Support practitioners and improve outcomes across teams.
