Family Therapist: Who We’re Looking For

Requirements:

• Professional Accreditation – UKCP or BACP registered.
• AFT Membership – Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice (AFT) Member.
• Relevant Qualifications – A core counselling/psychotherapy qualification.
• Therapeutic Experience – Proven experience in family therapy.
• Clinical Confidence – Ability to work with diverse clinical presenting issues and navigate the therapeutic process effectively.
• Commitment to Clients and Growth – Passion for therapy and professional development.
• Technology-Friendly – Familiarity with online scheduling systems (full training and ongoing support provided).
• Strong Communication Skills – Engaged, responsive, and organised in client interactions whilst adhering to Leone Centre policies and procedures. Efficient at tracking and responding to booking notifications, referrals and contact from our team.
• Confidentiality & Compliance – A solid understanding of UK GDPR regulations.
• Professional Indemnity Insurance – Including worldwide coverage for online sessions.
• UK-Based – For insurance and regulatory reasons.

Ideal Attributes:

• In-Person Availability – Ability to work in person from our London offices in Fulham, Kensington, Wimbledon, or Sloane Square.
• LGBTQ+ Experience – A progressive mindset and diverse experience supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
• Neurodiversity Training – Experience and training to support those with ADHD, Autism, and other types of neurodivergence.
