An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Systemic Family Therapist to join our specialist community Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Weymouth & Portland.
As a Systemic Family Therapist, you will provide assessments and interventions for children, young people, and their families referred to Core CAMHS. You will work autonomously, delivering highly specialist Family Therapy to young people and their families, and will be confident in consultation, supervision, and training of colleagues.
We seek someone passionate and enthusiastic, who believes—like us—that working with young people and their families is one of the most effective early interventions in mental health care.
As an integral team member, you will work clinically with families and support the team in maintaining systemic thinking at the core of our clinical service.
This post is available as a full-time or part-time role of 22.55 hours per week. Flexible working arrangements may be considered, provided service needs are met.
You will be able to deliver evidence-based assessments and treatments across various settings for children, young people, and families experiencing mental health difficulties requiring Tier 3 intervention.
You will create assessment formulations, hypotheses, treatment plans, and regularly review these plans.
You will provide specialist family therapy assessments and interventions on a time-limited basis, act as a key worker where appropriate, and maintain high-quality clinical record keeping.
