Working 22.5 hours a week, you will work alongside the dedicated team at Tŷ Glyn Ebwy as a specialist Eating Disorder service for women. You will be part of an environment that emphasizes teamwork and empowers recovery, with career opportunities to grow your career.

Where you will be working:

Ty Glyn Ebwy is expanding its services to women in a specialist eating disorder setting, focusing on treating eating disorders, alongside addressing conditions like depression, self-harm, physical health concerns, and psychological distress including trauma.

You will be responsible for delivering systemic family psychotherapy within the service, providing assessments and interventions to women admitted to the ward and their families or support systems. You will support staff development, participate in training, consultations, staff support, and contribute systemic input into the multidisciplinary team.

You will receive regular clinical and professional supervision and will be supported to develop your clinical and leadership skills as part of your career development. You will join a proactive Therapies Team and have access to a network of psychological therapists across Elysium Healthcare. There are excellent opportunities for professional growth.

You should have experience in managing a service user's caseload, including assessing those with complex needs, supporting families, developing care plans, and delivering psychological treatments within Eating Disorder services.

As a Systematic Family Therapist, you will be:

• Providing highly-skilled systemic interventions for families of women with severe, complex, and persistent mental health, learning difficulties, or developmental problems.
• Conducting in-depth risk assessments for young people at risk of harm to themselves, with crisis planning capabilities.
• Applying evidence-based, formulation-driven systemic perspectives to multidisciplinary risk management, care planning, and decision-making.
• Managing a complex caseload within a multidisciplinary team, facilitating groups such as carer support groups where appropriate.
• Monitoring clinical progress through regular reviews of systemic treatments.
• Engaging with young people with diverse mental health needs and developmental difficulties, utilizing your extensive theoretical and practical knowledge.
• Supporting staff development through training, consultation, formulation meetings, and reflective practice sessions.
• Contributing to service development within the Therapies Team and the wider service.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Master’s or doctorate level qualifying course in Systemic Psychotherapy, accredited by the AFT.
• Registration with UKCP.
