Job summary

A leading cancer treatment center in Manchester is looking for a dedicated individual to manage patient bookings and support clinical teams with administration. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Flexible working hours are essential, including some weekends and Bank Holidays. Appropriate training will be provided for trust systems, making a good knowledge advantageous.

Job description
Role Overview

The post holder's role will include the booking of patients SACT treatment, and booking outpatients appointments, communicating with patients and relatives both face to face and on the phone, ensuring patients receive their appointments in a timely manner. Other administration skills will be required to support the clinical teams.

Responsibilities

Working Hours

The successful candidate will be required to cover reception duties and work a variety of shifts between 7.30am and 6pm throughout the week, with an expectation to work some Bank Holidays and Saturdays on rotation.

Key Skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and manage own workload.
  • Proficiency in computer use, including trust systems.
  • Training will be provided for trust systems, but a good knowledge is advantageous.
