System Testers

Successful applicants for this position will have extensive experience of testing software both from a user interface and technical point of view. They should be comfortable with creating test plans and scripts from functional documentation and be able to work consistently and to a high quality in what is a fast-paced development environment.

Key Skills/knowledge Required

• Extensive system / software testing experience
• Command line experience of UNIX/LINUX environments
• Knowledge and experience of DOS, bash and Shell scripting
• Relational database experience – PL*SQL querying
• Excellent analytical skills with rigorous attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products (MS Word, MS Excel)
• Excellent knowledge of Windows OS
• Electricity industry process / data knowledge (desired)
