Overview

ICT Systems Support Technician – South Queensferry, Scottish Ambulance Service

Responsibilities
  • We are currently looking to recruit an ICT Systems Support Technician to work as part of our Systems Support Team.
  • The post holder is required to have an in-depth specialist knowledge of the following ICT Systems, operating in a 24/7 environment, combined with practical experience with a number of the following:
    • Windows 10 & 11 OS Desktop Support
    • Windows 2016, 2019 and 2022 Server Roles & Features
    • SQL Server Console Management
    • SCCM Application Deployments / Collection Management
    • Windows Remote Desktop Services
    • Microsoft 365 Application Suite Support
    • Azure AAD / Intune / Exchange
    • VMware and Azure experience
    • PowerShell Scripting experience
    • Active Directory & Group Policy Management
    • Hardware and Software support
    • Installation and configuration of commercial and bespoke software applications
    • Understanding of backup and disaster recovery strategies and solutions
    • Helpdesk Ticketing systems
  • The post will be based at our office in South Queensferry, Edinburgh.
  • The role involves participating in a 24/7 on call rota.
  • The role will involve some travel throughout Scotland and possible overnight stays.
