Job Description:

Salary up to £38,207 (dependent on experience) plus a £2,000 South East allowance for candidates based at Culham, and a generous benefits package.
Location: Culham, Oxfordshire or Whitehaven, Cumbria (hybrid working).
Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week).

Some of the responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring stability, continuity, and availability of all core applications, providing rapid response to incidents and escalated user queries.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to support business processes, working with management and end-users to support new and existing applications and reports.
  • Working across various applications and projects, including setup, maintenance, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Supporting problem and knowledge management processes – creating and maintaining knowledge articles with our Managed Service Provider.
  • Supporting operational activities through effective incident and data resolution to minimize end-user disruption.
  • Configuring and managing systems according to change control processes, ensuring security and organizational requirements are met.
  • Providing second/third line incident and data resolution to support BPSS activities, managing requests and incidents using service management tools.
  • Participating in User Acceptance Testing for quarterly patches and system improvements.

To be successful, you should have:

  • Experience with Business Systems or Applications, preferably Oracle Fusion, HCM, and related modules.
  • Willingness to obtain ITIL Foundation Certification within 12 months.
  • A pragmatic problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to understand technical issues.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for team collaboration and customer liaison.
  • Methodical and organized approach.
  • Excellent communication skills adaptable to all audiences.
