Job summary

Cirrus Selection Limited is recruiting a System of Systems Engineer to join our Bristol-based engineering team, supporting the delivery and evolution of complex, integrated systems.

You will work across multiple disciplines, with involvement in requirements, architecture, integration and verification, and you will collaborate with customers and industry partners while contributing to design reviews and technical investigations.

Salary: Up to £56,000 depending on experience
Location: Bristol

Duration: Permanent | Hybrid, 3 days onsite

We are recruiting for a System of Systems Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Bristol, supporting the delivery and evolution of complex, integrated systems.

This is an opportunity to work across multiple engineering disciplines, helping to define how complex systems integrate, evolve and deliver capability for customers.

You will work closely with customers, industry partners and multidisciplinary engineering teams, with genuine involvement in requirements, architecture, integration and verification.

What you will be doing

• Developing System of Systems requirements and future evolution paths
• Defining system architectures and use cases
• Developing integration requirements and verification plans
• Working directly with customers and industrial partners
• Supporting and leading technical and design reviews
• Conducting trade studies and technical investigations
• Resolving complex technical issues across multidisciplinary teams
• Delivering engineering work packages and supporting programme delivery

You are likely to have experience in:

• Developing and integrating complex systems
• Strong systems thinking and the ability to drive trade studies
• Requirements development and verification
• Working with multiple technical stakeholders
• Producing technical and engineering documentation
• Project engineering and delivery of work packages
• System architecture tools, including DOORS and Rhapsody
• Communicating complex technical information clearly to different audiences
