Job summary

Disguise is seeking a System Integration Engineer on a 12-month fixed-term basis to join the Hardware team in London. The role focuses on building pre-configured Windows OS images for server models and integrating hardware, firmware and OS across disciplines.

You will own bring-up, validation and test plans, working closely with mechanical, electronics, firmware and software teams, procurement and suppliers. This is a hands-on, in-flight role with ownership.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hardware, systems or test engineering role, integrating hardware and software into complete products.
• Fault finding across electrical, mechanical and software boundaries with structured RCA.
• Hands-on lab work with PC hardware and servers.
• Knowledge of BIOS, firmware and OS installation and configuration.
• Scripting for test automation and data handling (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Clear technical docs and test procedures; ability to work across teams including suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Integrate hardware, firmware and OS elements into working systems and bring up new builds.
• Own end-to-end integration issues from symptom to verified fix.
• Contribute to BIOS and OS level configuration and validation on new platforms.
• Write and maintain hardware test plans covering functional, environmental and thermal tests.
• Build test rigs, automate tests, and translate results into engineering decisions.
• Collaborate with software, product, procurement and contract manufacturers.
